The Priaulx Library has arranged several lectures over the past few years, some in collaboration with The Friends of the Priaulx Library. Most recently, Tim Wiltshire, a highly skilled bookbinder from Winchester, gave a fascinating lecture on this traditional art.

Friends of the Priaulx Library presentation – British Library and its Treasures

The Friends of the Priaulx Library, in association with Ozannes Law firm, presented British Library and its Treasures by Dr. Michelle Brown of the British Library.
The presentation took place on September 28th, 2007 at the Frossard Lecture Theatre, La Société Guernesiaise, Candie Gardens.  There was a small but highly appreciative audience who were treated to an exposition on the creation and history of the Lindisfarne Gospels and the Luttrell Psalter.
