19th February 20262 January 1620. Letter under seal of the Court of St Michel du Valle. Pierre Careye Seneschal. Edmond Effart and Pierre Gibault, vavassours. Etienne Hamon son of Helier of the Clos du Valle sold to Thomas Falla as the guardian of Thomas Henry son of Collas (V) of a certain house in the Clos du Valle .. in the place called the Ville es Pied, between the house of Giret Perrin and the house of Pierre Henry ... Item. A small yard to the south of the said house with a small cottage to the north of the said house with a stackyard ... Thomas Henry assigned to pay rent to Jean Cheshire etc
3 May 1670. Letter under seal, counterseal with the arms of Amice Andros, Seigneur de Sausmarez [Sammarez] and Bailiff. Mr James de Havilland, Jean de Sausmarez and Elizée de Sausmarez, Jurats. The King's Prévôt, party for the debts of Samuel Gagnepain, [and] guardian of the daughter of Guillaume Falla, is judged amerci in favour of Jean Henry, the eldest son of his late father and seized of the hill (croute) and the land around Vale Castle and of half of a certain meadow [running up to the Hure Mare to the North]. The Prévôt renounces his part of the said estate of the aforementioned ward in right of her late father, heir to Raulin Falla, according to which [she?] could not p[ay ten bushels and a cabot of wheat rent ... and the said Henry is seized of it by inheritance. Item. The Prévôt also party for the debts of James Falla son of his said late father has lost a case to the said [Henry] saisor ... The Prévôt party for the debts of Nicolas Le Cornu in right of his wife, the daughter of the late Raulin Falla, renounces etc. ... Item. Certain documents of seizure, sold/given by the King's Prévôt, Sr Etienne Agenor, were produced: signed by the Prevot on 3 May 1670 ... that he had sold to Sr Jean Henry etc. .. a meadow ... adjoining the eastern end of the Courtil Troussé belonging to Sr Jean Falla son of Pierre, that used to belong to the late Raulin Falla, the default of payment I had indicated to Sr Samuel Gagnepain, guardian of the daughter of Guillaume Falla and heir to her grandfather Raulin Falla (and to James Falla and to Nicolas Le Cornu).

Pierre Agenor, Edmond Effart, Raulin Falla, Jean Le Fevre [Le Feyvre], Lucas de la Rue, Jean Carey [Careye], James Gallienne [Gallyenne], Thomas de Lisle [de L'Isle], Collas Corbin and Pierre La Pere, vavassours. Pierre Cauvin son of Collas and Collas Henry, guardian of Jean Cauvin son of Rollin, were judged to be amerci in favour of Guillaume Henry and Tristram Falla [Ffalla] in right of his mother. Cauvin and Henry, after a vue de justice on the spot, and told to leave the said Guilaujme Henry and Tristram Falla ... of a path suitable for cart and plough, pedestrians and riders, crossing the Petit Courtil des Rivieres to the west of the Grand Courtil des Rivieres abd to the east of the Courtil es Feibues
